Kane County 2021 Budget Hearing

Virtual public hearings on Pace’s proposed 2021 budget are being held and each public hearing will be livestreamed on YouTube with closed captioning and may be accessed at . If you wish to comment on the proposed budget a public hearing, you must pre-register at least 24 hours prior to the start of the hearing. Registration for this hearing has now closed. See the to register for another upcoming session. After you register, you will receive an email with a Zoom link that only you can use to gain access to the hearing. If you wish to comment during more than one public hearing, multiple registrations are necessary. If you do not pre-register, you will not be able to comment during a hearing. Log into the hearing using the Zoom link emailed to you. In order to be admitted into the hearing, you must log into the hearing no more than 10 minutes the hearing’s start time. If you log in more than 10 minutes after the hearing’s start time, you will not be admitted. When the hearing is opened for public comment, each attendee who registered to give public comment during the hearing will be manually unmuted by Pace, one at a time, and given two minutes to speak. You are encouraged to keep your questions or comments relevant to the proposed 2021 budget. The Hearing Officer may or may not respond to you after you speak. Please note that once admitted to the hearing, you will be able to hear and see the Hearing Officer, but you will not be able to see yourself or other hearing attendees. Please also note that the Hearing Officer and other attendees will not be able to see you, but they will hear you, and they will see your name. If you wish to just view a hearing and not provide comment during a hearing, you can do so at any time during the hearing or after the hearing is over at .
