Community Conversations will focus on major challenges and opportunities facing Tulsa.
Mayor Monroe Nichols has announced a second round of Community Conversations will take place throughout Tulsa this fall. These meetings will give residents an opportunity to discuss some of the biggest issues facing the city today, including public safety, homelessness, youth outreach, essential services and other key priorities.
Each meeting will begin with updates from City leaders on the state of the city and a panel of topic specific experts will provide a progress report on initiatives underway to create improved community outcomes.
“As we navigate some of the largest issues facing our city, engaging with Tulsans will be at the heart of how we build a stronger community,” Mayor Nichols said. “These conversations allow us to sit down together, talk honestly about the challenges we face, and work toward solutions that reflect the needs and values of our city.”
The Community Conversations series will take place across Tulsa throughout the month of October. Each event will highlight a specific topic area, and will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
